The EASZ-2 standard version oil sensor allows for rapid measurement of water content. It is an inline device for online monitoring. The EASZ-2 can be connected to controllers or alarms that control the function of a separator or oil dryer.


The water in oil sensor is suitable for applications involving detection of moisture build up/ water droplets in hydraulic and lubrication circuit or any type of mineral or synthetic oil.


The standard outputs are Modbus and 4-20ma with electrical contacts for alarm relays.


One of the useful features of the sensor is the backlit display in Green, Amber and Red which can be set to indicate different levels of water measured by the sensor and operators can visibly spot the occurrence of an abnormality.


The EASZ-2 has been carefully designed and engineered to not only detect lower moisture limits in hydraulics and lube but also larger amounts of water where leaks or condensation may have occurred and give cause for necessary intervention.

 

The quick response time (1 second) enables operators to be aware immediately of when a problem has occurred. The measuring principle is based on changing dielectric constants in an oil which are measured and compensated against the effects of temperature. Each unit is carefully calibrated at the factory to ensure optimum performance.
