Online Liquid Concentration Meter
With the use of a wide range oscillator, it is possible to measure the concentration of liquids within liquids as long as there is a
sufficient dielectric constant disparity between the two.
One of the advantages of measuring the dielectric constant of a liquid using an electrical method is that it is not necessary to clean an optical surface. An optical device such as a light source refractometer measuring the refraction of light often has a lens that needs constant cleaning.
EESIFLO has supplied their solutions to a wide range of applications for liquid in liquid concentrations using a wide range oscillation techniques
Customized Versions for Special Applications
Great advantages in concentration measurement for opaque liquids.
Other advantages are:
- Empty Pipe detection
- Formulas for liquids with dependencies
- Simultaneous capacitance and resistance measurements
- Temperature compensation
- No need to use online chromatographs.
- Reduce manpower (by eliminating constant spot sampling)
- Control a process more accurately.
In the chemical industry, EESIFLO has successfully supplied custom built units to measure the different forms of MDI. Methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI) is an aromatic diisocyanate. Three isomers are common, varying by the positions of the isocyanate groups around the rings: 2,2′-MDI, 2,4′-MDI, and 4,4′-MDI. The 4,4′ isomer is most widely used, and is also known as 4,4′-diphenylmethane diisocyanate. In addition to the above, the concentration monitors are ATEX and IECEx approved for use in hazardous areas.
